Hey guys, a quick update.
Our friend Zaid has started going to church with us and saying some pretty exciting things. He is from a Muslim family.
Had a very good conversation with our friend Burak, looking for a Turkish language Bible for him. Please pray for that and for him. He got to the church parking lot and chickened out. Also from a Muslim family.
Jack has had good conversations with Dylan. Still trying to figure out how to go about talking with him more, he is always with friends. But he does believe in God and reads his Bible. Pray for opportunities.
Jack and myself both busted our ankles playing soccer and are on crutches. Prayer for that would be appreciated.
We are all feeling the crunch. I know I have a huge emotion mix of excited to come home, sad to leave, excited about what is happening with our friend, sad that our time isn't long enough, so it seems, excited to see what awesome things God will do, excited to get people from the church involved with our friends, and stressed on how to find the time for all of this. So I stay pretty exhausted all the time, cuz I'm always hyped up thinking about things. So whatever you get from that if you could pray for that as well, it is much needed.
Awesome things are happening guys. Please please pray for our friends' salvation.
capt. morgan...know we are lifting you & those you are ministering to up. also praying for what will happen after you leave, that God would raise up other Christians to further the evangelism, friendship, & discipleship needed to cultivate the work you all have done...looking forward to seeing you & hearing more in detail about your trip. & as far as the ankles are concerned here's the recipe for recovery...4 ibuprofen (200mg) @ every meal & then sleep w/ your foot elevated...works like a charm.
